About coupons

A coupon is a time-limited discount token, introductory offer token, or a form of advertising credit that is redeemable by you for a discounted service at a discounted or promotional rate. If qualified, you may receive coupons from your TikTok sales representative or find coupon offers within TikTok Ads Manager. Coupon policies are dictated by TikTok Coupon Terms.


A coupon can be in various stages of use and assignment, and your list of coupons can be found in the Promotions page in TikTok Ads Manager.

  1. The Available tab in the Status table contains the following information:tab. Available coupons can either be assigned or not assigned.

    1. Ad credit name: The name of the ad credit available.Coupon details column as greater than zero.

    2. Discount / Amount: The nominal value of the free credit or discount coupon.Coupon details column as zero.

    3. Redeemed date: The date the ad credit was redeemed or became available to use.

    4. Valid dates: How long the ad credit will be available for you to use before it expires.

    5. Unused amount: The remaining amount to be used.

    6. Used amount: The amount already used.

    7. Percent spent: Shows how much of a particular ad credit has been spent.

    8. Restrictions: Provides details about which restrictions apply to the ad credit (for example, campaigns, products, or countries).

    9. Actions: Provides actions that you can take for ad credits assignable to campaigns:

      • View/Assign: Choose this option to assign or unassign ad credits to campaigns and to view which products and countries ad credits are restricted to. Note: You must have admin permission to TikTok Ads Manager to assign and unassign ad credits to campaigns.

      • Assignment log: Choose this option to review the assignment history of an ad credit.

      • No restrictions will appear if there are no restrictions.

  2. The Earning tab displays the programs in which you are currently participating. tab's list of coupons with Credit expired under the Status column.

  3. The Not available tab shows any ad credits that have expired or been used up. tab's list of coupons stating Void under the Status column.

  4. Used: The coupon has been fully used and cannot be used anymore. You will see these in the Not available tab's list of coupons stating Used up under the Status column.
