Most account reviews take less than 24 hours to complete. Once we've reviewed your account we will notify you over email if you've been approved or not. Additionally, you can check your account approval status in the account setup page of your TikTok Ads Manager account.
I changed the URL of my promotion link, why hasn't my account been approved?
When you update the URL of your promotion link, you will automatically trigger a new account review. This process may take up to 24 hours. If it happens after 24 hours, it may be because the updated URL failed to pass review.
Can you approve my ad account if I don't use a website to promote my business?
Per our advertiser policies, we can only approve a TikTok For Business account if there is an official website. We understand that some businesses may use a social media profile as their official page, but we require an official website. Once you can update your account information with the URL of your official website, save the update to your Business Information and we will review your account.
I do not agree with your evaluation of my official website, what can I do?
Unfortunately, sometimes we get things wrong. If you feel your website was not reviewed properly, re-enter the promotional link and request a new account review. If you still do not agree with our decision, please raise a ticket under Account Review in TikTok Business Support within 3 working days.
Can I use my Instagram account as my promotion link?
Per our advertiser policies, we can only approve a TikTok For Business account if there is an official website. Once you have developed an official website for your business, please add the URL to your promotion link on the account setup page. If you have already tried using a social media account, update the URL of the company website and save the change.
I have provided all the correct account information, why isn't my account approved?
We understand that this might be frustrating. Try re-entering the required account information and click Request review. If your account is still disapproved, please raise a ticket under Account Review in TikTok Business Support to raise an appeal within 3 working days.
Are there certain products I can't promote on TikTok For Business?

Why was my ad account suspended?
There are several reasons your account could be suspended, including violating our ad creative or industry policies. Here are some of the reasons why your account hasn’t been approved yet:
Website URL is invalid.
Additional documents are required.
Business information or tax information is invalid.
Once you’ve modified these sections, submit for a second review.

It is likely that your landing page violates one of TikTok's Advertising Policies for Landing Pages including, but not limited to the following:
Users are directed to a non-functional landing page.
The landing page is not optimized for mobile devices.
The landing page displays prohibited products
The ad's creative is not consistent with the products or services displayed on the landing page.
The language on the landing page is not consistent with acceptable language in the country/region you are targeting.
The landing page does not contain a Privacy Policy.
The landing page requires users to submit sensitive personal information to access the site.

Please ensure that the URL was entered using the correct protocol, "http://www.example.com" or "https://www.example.com."
Additionally, the promotion link must be valid and relevant to the product or service you want to promote. Your account will NOT be approved if we can't verify this URL.
