You can generate leads from Promote campaign viewers and drive specific actions, such as submitting forms to collect user information, phone calls, and messages in TikTok. Learn how to use lead generation objectives with Promote campaigns.

How to set up Promote for lead generation

To set up Promote for lead generation:

  1. Create a Promote campaign in the TikTok mobile app. Learn about finding Promote in the TikTok app.

  2. Under Choose your goal, select Get Leads.

  3. Select More Messages, More Phone Calls, or More Leads. Note: These campaigns will only target users who are 18 years old or older.

    • More Messages: Set who can send you direct messages to Everyone.

    • More Phone Calls: Select your country/region and add or select your phone number.

    • More Leads: Set up your lead form if you don’t already have one.

      • You must use a Business Account in order to access lead generation objectives. Learn more about Business Accounts.

      • Videos with TikTok Shop e-commerce product links are excluded from this objective.

      • The video must be posted in the same region as the country or region the account is registered in.

  4. Select a promotion pack, or customize your promotion:

    1. Choose your audience by clicking on Default audience or Create your own.

    2. Set your Budget and Duration.

  5. Review your promotion details.

  6. Click Pay.
