How to integrate to SAN for new apps

TikTok's Self-Attributing Network (SAN) is an advanced network integration with Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) that enables:

  • Better visibility into TikTok’s true contribution to app performance campaign outcomes.

  • More accurate conversion recognition and reporting in TikTok Ads Manager, without any impact on your existing MMP final attribution logic.

The following steps will show you how to integrate SAN for new apps.

How to integrate to SAN for new apps

  1. In TikTok Ads Manager, navigate to Events Manager by clicking the Tools tab and then Event.

  2. Select Manage under App Events.

  3. Select Create New App,then enter your app URL.

  4. Select your Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP).

  5. Click Confirm.

    • Note: The legacy TikTok for Business integration is no longer available for new apps.

  6. Click on Confirm again to complete the setup.

  7. Create your app on Events Manager.

Continue the setup process on your MMP using TikTok App ID (if applicable). Ensure all the events are properly set up before starting the campaigns. For more guidance, refer to the MMP help center articles listed in How to transition to SAN for existing apps.
