How to integrate to SAN for new apps

TikTok's Self-Attributing Network (SAN) is an advanced network integration with Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) that enables:

  • Better visibility into TikTok’s true contribution to app performance campaign outcomes.

  • More accurate conversion recognition and reporting in TikTok Ads Manager, without any impact on your existing MMP final attribution logic.

The following steps will show you how to integrate SAN for new apps.

How to integrate to SAN for new apps

  1. In TikTok Ads Manager, navigate to Events Manager by clicking the Tools tab and then Event.

  2. Select the + icon on the left navigation and select Connect data source or click the button Connect data source on the top right corner.

3. Select App.

4. Enter your app URL.

5. Select your Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) and enter the corresponding tracking identifiers based on the instructions. Note: Depending on the MMP you're using, you may need to enter Click and Impression tracking URLs or App Token or have nothing to configure.


6. After you configured the tracking identifier, click Create to complete. You app is now on TikTok SAN.
