How to access the TikTok Video Editor

The TikTok Video Editor is TikTok Ads Manager's web-based video editor that gives you access to a suite of TikTok-style editing features. Learn more about the TikTok Video Editor.


Before you begin

You must have an ad account to access TikTok Ads Manager. Learn more about TikTok Ads Manager.


How to access TikTok Video Editor

From the navigation bar in TikTok Ads Manager:

  1. Log into TikTok Ads Manager.

  2. Within the Tools tab, click Video editor.


During ad creation:

  1. Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.

  2. Click the Campaign tab.

  3. Click Create.

  4. Choose your campaign settings and click Continue.

  5. Under Ad creative, click either:

    1. + Add videos or images to add from your library and then click TikTok Video Editor.

    2. + Create new then click Edit new video.


From the Creative Library:

  1. Log into TikTok Ads Manager.

  2. Within the Tools tab, click Creative library.

  3. Select the Video tab.

  4. Click Create.

  5. Click Edit new video.
