Last updated: October 2024

Principle

We are deeply committed to ensuring that TikTok is a safe and positive experience for people under the age of 18*, we refer to them as “youth.” This starts by being old enough to use TikTok, whereby people must be 13** years or older to have an account. We do not allow content that may harm or put youth at risk.

*In South Korea, "youth" is referred to as people under the age of 19 years old.

** In South Korea, you must be 14 years or older to have a TikTok account.
