Taxes may be applicable to your purchase of TikTok Ads depending on the market or region of your "billing address", unless otherwise agreed.
If your billing country/region is set to Japan and you receive services from Bytedance KK, a 10% Japan Consumption Tax (JTC) will be applied to your TikTok Ads purchase in accordance with local tax regulations.
Enterprise customers that do not have JCT charged on their invoice because the invoice is issued by TikTok foreign entities are responsible for self-assessing and reporting JCT under the reverse charge mechanism.
