Israel: About Taxes

Last updated: March 2025

Taxes may be applicable to your purchase of TikTok Ads depending on the market or region of your "billing address", unless otherwise agreed.

All amounts payable by the Customer are exclusive of value added tax or any other similar turnover, sales, purchase or usage tax or any duty or levy applied in respect of the Customer’s use of TikTok’s products and services, for which the Customer remains responsible.

If withholding taxes is required, the Customer shall inform TikTok and request all the necessary documentation to apply the tax treaty between both jurisdictions. TikTok shall provide the Customer with all the required documentation to apply the applicable tax treaty and the Customer will reasonably assist TikTok to submit any required documentation for the reduced withholding tax application to the local tax authorities.

The Customer is obligated to self-assess value added tax charges at the applicable rates and is responsible for issuing self-billing Israeli tax invoices. The Customer agrees to provide the self-billing tax invoices in each calendar year, on a quarterly basis (i.e., once every three calendar months), to TikTok for services provided under this agreement.

Note: TikTok is unable to advise you on tax matters. Please contact your tax advisor or your local tax authorities for any tax questions that you may have in relation to your Ad purchase.
