Automate Creative is an advertising optimization solution that provides creative optimization services. It utilizes TikTok's latest Symphony AI capabilities to automatically optimize uploaded creative assets. By simply activating the Automate Creative function, it can identify opportunities for material optimization and serve as a personal ad optimization assistant, assisting you in improving ad campaigns for enhanced performance.
Automate Creative uses additional advanced creative AI features to automatically optimize and create variations of your creative assets. These creative AI features include:
Quality enhancement: Improve overall visual quality through increased resolution and more.
Music enhancement: Optimize background music by recommending and swapping from the Commercial Music Library.
Image resize: Resize current image to take advantage of full screen width capabilities.
Other enhancements: Certain creative AI features that are being tested for a portion of advertisers.
Automate Creative is supported for the following:
Regions: Global
Placement type:
Automatic placement: TikTok, Pangle, Global App Bundle
Select placement: TikTok
Ad objectives: Reach, traffic, video views, community interaction, app promotion, web conversion, and lead generation
Ad formats: non-Spark ads, including video and carousel ads, and push Spark Ads. Learn more about Spark Ads.
Note: Split testing and API are not supported yet.
Automate Creative is accessed via a toggle during the ad creation flow for new campaigns.
In TikTok Ads Manager's campaign creation process, after completing ad group settings, find Ad details.
Under Ad creative, toggle on Automate Creative.
Note: Automate Creative is available for select customers based on the "Availability" section above. If you do not see the Automate Creative toggle, you may have selected settings that are unsupported, such as selecting manual placement of Pangle or Global App Bundle without TikTok placement.
Click Customize.
Customize your optimization settings by selecting the optimization features. To select or unselect a single feature, click on the box in the top right corner of the optimization feature. You may also click Select all.
You can see optimization features for either video, image, or both in the pop-up drawer depending on the type of your creative assets.
Complete your customization by clicking the Confirm button.
Upon returning to the campaign creation page, below the Automate Creative toggle, you can see a line of text displaying the optimization features you have used.
Note: Once the ad campaign is published, you cannot change the Automate Creative settings, including whether it is enabled or disabled. You must create a new campaign to use different Automate Creative settings.
