The disclaimer toggles features on TikTok Ads Manager enable you to quickly add a disclaimer label to the bottom of your in-feed ads, instead of creating and incorporating within the ad creative. To understand an overview, learn more about ad disclaimers in TikTok Ads Manager.
Note: These features may not be available to all customers. For more information, please contact your sales representative.

Note: For Android ads using a PDF as their clickable link, you must host the PDF on a third-party service, such as Google Docs Viewer due to Android system limitations.
First, advertisers need to assess if their ads contain AI-generated content that meet the criteria for disclosing the use of AIGC on TikTok ads. The below conditions must all be met for the ad:
Is a TikTok ad
Is not a Spark ad
As Spark ads live organically on TikTok, they must follow the TikTok Community Guidelines policy for AI-generated content disclosure. Follow these instructions to disclose.
Content includes image, video, or audio that is either completely AI-generated or significantly modified by AI. We have specific requirements and guidelines for synthetic and manipulated media in our article about misleading and false content.
After verifying the above conditions, use the AI-generated content disclaimer feature in TikTok Ads Manager under the Ad creation part of the campaign creation process:
Create a campaign or go to an existing campaign.
Under the ad creation process, check the toggle This ad contains AI-generated content.
Click Submit after you are done with the ad creation process.
Note: After you submit, you cannot change the toggle or unselect it unless you change the video or image. Any new campaign creation, including campaign duplication, will reset the AI-generated content disclaimer toggle, even if you reuse an ad that you previously used this toggle for.
For any custom text in disclaimers, the disclaimer feature can be used only for providing disclaimer information. Incorrect use of the feature will result in the rejection of the ad during ad review.
For more information about our policies regarding ads using disclaimers, please see our "Ad Creative" policies.
