Best practices for your landing page

Last updated: July 2024

The following best practices will help your landing page comply with TikTok Ad policies:

  • Valid Information: Landing pages for e-commerce and financial service ads must display valid information about the company in a visible location, such as the footer of your website. You should include who owns the site, policies, prices displayed in local currency, terms and conditions, and business licenses.

  • Mobile-Friendly: Your Landing Page must be mobile-friendly. Visitors should be able to view your website on a mobile device in a horizontal and vertical orientation. All of your text, including buttons, should be easy to read without having to zoom in.

  • No Prohibited Products: Landing Pages cannot display prohibited products, even if you are not promoting them via ads. For example, an ad promoting an acceptable product, such as a mobile game, cannot lead to a landing page displaying prohibited products, such as e-cigarettes.

  • No Sensitive Information: Your Landing Page cannot request visitors provide sensitive information to access the site. For example, personal identification, financial information (or credit card information), health information, or biometric data.
