How to use Audience Insights

Audience Insights are based on all paid and organic TikTok data. When you use audience insights, you'll be able to explore user interests, behaviors, and demographics to maximize results. You'll have a range of filters to view audience information or to select a TikTok custom audience.

How to select your audience

To select your audience:

  1. Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.

  2. Click on Reporting.

  3. Navigate to the Define Audience panel on the left.

  4. Click on the Filter audience or Select custom audience drop-down menus to select your filters.

  5. View your audience insights. You can choose from the following:

    1. Audience overview: Get a quick view of your audience.

    2. Engagement: Get insights on how engaged and how frequently your audience is using the TikTok app.

    3. Interests: Get deeper insights into what your audience is interested in.

    4. Audience overlap: Select comparison audience and choose up to four audiences.
