How to use Generate with AI through imported information

You can use Generate with AI to easily produce assets for your ad through imported information from a URL, app, or TikTok Shop.

Before getting started

Since Generate with AI is being rolled out over time, certain features might not be available to you. If Generate with AI is not available generally or for the campaign settings you have chosen, you will not see a Generate with AI button nor the Ads generation section. Learn more about the availability of Generate with AI or speak with your TikTok sales representative to discuss this feature's availability to you specifically.

How to use Generate with AI through imported information

1. Log into TikTok Ads Manager.

2. Start creating your campaign, such as by clicking Create an ad.

3. Choose one of the following ad objectives: traffic, lead generation, web conversions, app promotion, or product sales with the TikTok Shop source and Video Shopping Ads type.

4. Under Ad details, click Generate with AI.

5. Select your industry.

6. To import information:

   1. If you chose the traffic, lead generation, or web conversions ad objective, select Import from link and provide a link to the webpage of your product for analysis.

   2. If you chose the app promotion objective, your app's information will be imported.

   3. If you chose product sales with the TikTok Shop source and Video Shopping Ads type, this feature will generate videos based on your selected TikTok Shop product ID.

   4. Note: Generate with AI is currently available for English content only. When providing Generate with AI with a URL, it must include a maximum of a single item or product on the page.

7. You can adjust the imported information by clicking Manually input.

8. Click Generate.

9. After a few seconds, you will see generated videos populate the right panel. You may navigate the creatives, preview videos on TikTok, select creatives, and edit them.

10. You may also click Generate more to produce more creatives.
