Before Getting Started: The Gift Code Sticker feature supports Reach, Video Views, Traffic, Conversions, and App Installs advertising objectives under Auction Buying Type; and Reach, Traffic, and Video Views objectives under Reach & Frequency Buying Type.
The Gift Code Sticker Interactive Add-on lets you add an exclusive promotional code to your video ad.
A Gift Code Sticker will appear in the ads for the entire time, and can't be closed before the ad is finished playing. Once the Gift Code Sticker appears within the ad on TikTok, people can click Get Code to copy it to their phone's clipboard and redeem the code in-app or on the landing page you provided.
You can adjust the size and position of your Sticker on TikTok Ads Manager.
Note: For app download ads, the code can only be redeemed in-app, after the app is downloaded.
Go to TikTok Ads Manager and create a new campaign.
Select the Buying type and Advertising objective.
Set up your Ad Group, and continue to Ad Creation.
Enable the Identity toggle to create a Spark Ad, or turn it off to create a Non-Spark Ad (regular In-Feed ad).
Select Single Video as the Ad Format.
Add your video, ad text, link, and CTA to complete your ad creative.
Under Interactive Add-ons, click Create.
From the Interactive Add-on pop-up, select Sticker, and click Gift Code Sticker; then click Confirm.
From the Gift Code Sticker Editor:
Input your Sticker title.
Enter the code in the Gift Code field.
Select Sticker Color and Placement.
Click Confirm to create your Gift Code Sticker.
Click Submit from the Ad Creation page, when you are ready to publish your ad.
