Attribution is used with conversion tracking to understand actions taken by potential customers after an ad is viewed or clicked. You'll be able to determine which customers are more likely to convert and lead to better results for your business.
To create attribution windows:
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.
Click Campaign.
Enter Campaign details.
Enter Ad Group details.
Click Bidding and Optimization.
In the Attribution settings section, click the edit icon.
Enter Attribution window. You can choose from the following:
Click through attribution: Select 1 day, 7 day, 14 day, 28 day.
View through attribution: Select Off, 1 day, 7 day
Enter Event count. You can choose from the following:
Every: AEO for purchase event and VBO.
Once: Install +AEO for non-purchase optimization.
Click Next.
Note: Attribution settings cannot be changed once the ad group has been published. You'll have to create a new ad group to use a new Attribution window and Event count.
After adding your attribution settings for your ad group, you'll be able to continue creating an ad. Learn more about Attribution.
