How to manage automated rules in TikTok Ads Manager

Automated rules let you create rule-based tasks to automatically check and manage your campaigns, ad groups, and ads on TikTok Ads Manager. You can use Automated Rules to monitor and adjust your campaigns in real-time.

Note: If you create a rule using a template, you can still adjust the rule's settings.

You cannot apply Automated Rules to iOS 14 Dedicated Campaigns, Reach & Frequency Campaigns, and Smart Performance Campaigns.

  1. Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.

  2. Go to the Campaign tab.

  3. Click Automated Rules and choose Manage Rules.

  4. From the Rules Management page, you can select the actions you want to take.

    1. To enable or disable a rule, use the toggle in the On/Off column.

    2. To edit a rule, hover your mouse over the Rule Name, and click Edit.

    3. To delete a rule, hover your mouse over the Rule Name, and click Delete.

    4. To view the Operation Log of the rule, hover your mouse over the Rule Name, and click Operation Log. From the Operation Log, you can review when the rule was run, and see what actions were taken.
