Publish your ads using App retargeting after enabling retargeting on your mobile measurement partner (MMP) or on Events Manager. You can publish your ads with the following advertising objectives:
App promotion with the App retargeting campaign type.
Product sales with Catalog as the product source.
Learn more about app retargeting.
Create a Customer File or App Activity Custom Audience.
Learn about the available App retargeting capabilities.
Tip: Jump straight into TikTok Ads Manager with the app promotion objective selected. Then follow steps 5 - 9 to complete setup.
Select App retargeting.
Select additional settings.
Click Continue.
Under the Content exclusions tab, select your Customer File or App Activity custom audience from the drop down menu.
Complete additional settings and create your retargeting campaign.

Log in to your TikTok Ads Manager account.
Click the Campaigns tab.
Click Create.
Select App Promotion.
Select App retargeting.
Select additional settings.
Click Continue.
Under the Content exclusions tab, select your Customer File or App Activity custom audience from the drop down menu.
Complete additional settings and create your retargeting campaign.

Click the Campaign tab.
Click Create.
Select Product sales.
Select Catalog.
Select additional settings. Note: Don't turn on iOS dedicated campaign toggle even if you are targeting iOS traffic.

Click Continue.
Under the Audience targeting tab, click Retarget Audience.
Note: If using a Retarget Audience, you will need to select the events you want to include or exclude from your audience and the timeframe those events occurred. You also have the ability to include or exclude a custom audience from your Retarget Audience.

Complete additional settings and create your retargeting campaign.
Tip: Jump straight into TikTok Ads Manager with the sales objective selected and app selected as the destination. Then follow steps 6 - 9 to complete setup.
Log in to your TikTok Ads Manager account.
Click the Campaigns tab.
Click Create.
Select Sales as the campaign objective.
Select App as the sales destination.
Select additional settings. Note: Don't turn on iOS dedicated campaign toggle even if you are targeting iOS traffic.

Click Continue.
Under the Audience targeting tab, click Retarget audience.
Note: If using a Retarget Audience, you will need to select the events you want to include or exclude from your audience and the timeframe those events occurred. You also have the ability to include or exclude a custom audience from your Retarget Audience.

Complete additional settings and create your retargeting campaign.
