Dynamic Daily Budget is the average daily budget you want to spend over a week. When you set the daily amount you would like to spend, our system spends up to 25% more on days where there are better opportunities and less on days where there are not. The daily spend charges will average out to the amount you set over the course of the week (Sunday to Saturday). The weekly overall spend will not surpass more than seven times the daily budget. (ex. If you set a daily budget of 50 USD, we may spend up to 62.50 USD one day and as low as 37.50 USD. At the end of the seven days, the daily spend amount will average 50 USD, and the weekly spend will be no higher than 350 USD.)
Dynamic Daily Budget is available for the following campaign objectives:
Product Sales (Video Shopping Ads Only)
Dynamic Daily Budget is not available for reach and frequency campaigns.
Dynamic Daily Budget is available at the campaign and ad group level when you don’t set a campaign budget or if you select a Lifetime or Daily Budget for the campaign.
Dynamic Daily Budget is available at the campaign level if you enable Campaign budget optimization at the campaign level.
Go to TikTok Ads Manager.
Click Create new campaign, choose your objective, and finish inputting the campaign settings.
When you enter your daily budget in TikTok Ads Manager, you will see the following message:
“Your daily spend will depend on advertising opportunities available. You won’t spend more than 7 times your budget per week.”
After you enter your budget, you will see the following message:
“You’ll spend up to [inserted] budget on some days, and less on others. You’ll spend an average of [inserted budget] per day and no more than 7* [inserted budget] per calendar week."
Click Continue and finish setting up your campaign.
We will calculate a new budget to spend based on the new amount and days left in the week. For example, say the budget is set to $100/ day on Sunday. It runs from Sunday to Tuesday, then on Wednesday the budget is changed to $200/day. Instead of aiming to spend $700 over seven days, we'll aim to spend $800 (200 *4) over four days (or the number of days left in the week when you changed your budget).
Note: What was spent Sunday to Tuesday does not impact what is spent Wednesday through Sunday. These are independent of one another since the budget changed.
We will prorate the inserted budget and aim to spend it during the rest of the day. For example, if you set a daily budget of $100 at 9 am, we'll aim to spend $62.50 for the rest of the day (15 hours left in the day/24 total hours in the day * $100).
Note: The prorated amount is what we aim for, but it is not guaranteed. The only guarantee is that we won't spend more than 125% of your highest daily budget for that day.
We will follow the 7D budget average for each week the ad set runs.
