How to opt out of Autofill on TikTok

Opt Out for Users

Users can opt-out through their TikTok user settings or browser settings.


Opting out of Autofill in TikTok User Settings:

  1. Open the TikTok app.

  2. Select Settings and Privacy, and then Security & permissions.

  3. Select User Information.

  4. Turn off "Autofill payment information" and "Autofill contact information"


Opting out of Autofill in Browser Settings:

  1. On any webpage opened within the TikTok app, select the three dots on the top right corner.

  2. Select Browser Settings.

  3. Turn off "Autofill payment information" and "Autofill contact information".


Opt Out for Advertisers

Advertisers can opt-out their TikTok Ad Manager account from using Autofill. In this case, end-users will not have the option to use Autofill for the web pages linked within the ads from that opted-out account. To opt out of Autofill through email, send your request to autofill.support@bytedance.com with your account ID. We will turn Autofill off for any web pages linked with ads from the opted-out account.
