How to assign account or asset level permissions

Last updated: February 2025

Account and asset level permissions define how members and partners access and manage Business Center resources. These permissions enable Business Center admins to precisely control access to various accounts and assets including ad accounts, TikTok accounts, shops, pixels, catalogs, audiences, and leads.

Before you begin

How to assign account asset level permissions

To assign asset permissions to members:

  1. Log in to your TikTok Business Center account.

  2. Under the Users tab, select the member.

  3. In the Action column, click Add accounts. Select the accounts you'd like this member to access. The levels of access that you can assign vary by account type. For ad accounts, you can choose one of the following roles:

    • Admin: Admins can manage account settings and members, create and edit campaigns and performance reports, and manage payments and finances.

    • Operator: Operators can create and manage campaigns and view campaign performance data.

    • Analyst: Analysts can view campaigns and all performance-related data.

  4. Click Save.
