The TikTok Event Builder is a tool to set up events and parameters on your website without coding. The tool suggests relevant events and parameters based on button text and elements on your website. After your TikTok Pixel base code is installed on your website, you can set up events and parameters to measure conversions and optimize your TikTok Ads.

Ensure that you have set up TikTok Pixel (partner integrations or manual) and verify the connection is working properly.
Ensure you have edit permissions for the Pixel.
Get familiar with supported standard events and parameters.
If Content Security Policy is enabled on your website, review the developer documentation for additional setup recommendations.
Once you've added the TikTok Pixel to your website:
In Select Setup Method, choose Event Builder.
Enter your business URL.
Click Launch Event Builder. This will launch on your website in a new tab.
Click Add Event.
Select Button Clicks or URL Visits for how you would like to add events:
Button Clicks: Measure when a specific button or element is clicked.
URL Visits: Measure when a URL with a specified keyword is visited. This method helps track actions on pages with consistent URL keywords, like product detail pages, order confirmation pages, or a thank you page after a purchase.
You may encounter issues like events not firing, delayed data, or missing parameters. Specifically,
Pixel base code missing or placed incorrectly.
Parameters missing from events.
Mismatched Content ID not aligning with catalog.
CSP restrictions blocking the pixel.
We recommend using the Pixel Helper Chrome extension to verify pixel firing and event data or visiting web diagnostics for detailed guides.
