One Business Center can request access to up to 200 TikTok accounts for efficient and scalable account management. There is no limitation on how many Business Centers an individual TikTok account can authorize.
You will need Business Center admin permissions to request TikTok account access, give Business Center members permission to manage the TikTok account, and view authorized TikTok accounts in Business Center. All Business Center members can see the TikTok account tab in Business Center.
Both admin and other members can use the authorized TikTok account identity and content as long as they've been granted permission to access the account via Business Center and have admin account access to their desired ad account under the same Business Center.
Go to Business Center.
Go to the Assets tab.
Go to TikTok accounts and click Request access.
Select the level of access you'd like to request from the TikTok account. You can choose:
Ad delivery with existing posts: You'll have access to the account's profile info, ads and public videos.
Ad delivery with LIVE videos: You'll have access to the account's profile info and LIVE videos.
Click Generate QR code.
Click Copy QR code to download and share the QR code with the TikTok account owner.
On the TikTok app, the owner of the TikTok account will need to scan the QR code and give TikTok For Business authorization to the account. The QR Code Scanner can be found on the Friends page under Find Friends or the Privacy page in the TikTok app. To access via the Privacy page:
Go to your Profile page.
Tap the three dashes in the top right corner of your screen.
Tap Settings and Privacy.
Under Account, tap QR Code.
Tap the Scan icon in the top right corner of your screen.
Go to Business Center.
Go to Assets, and select TikTok accounts.
Choose a TikTok Account and click Assign new member.
Click the check box next to the member you want to authorize and select the level of permission for the TikTok account you want them to have.
Note: These steps apply to advertisers who have an account manager. If you do not have a dedicated account manager, please contact customer support.
Initiate the process with SOaP: Reach out to your account manager to start the account owner change process. They'll provide guidance and confirm the account's eligibility for transfer.
Obtain client approval: Once your account manager approves, secure written confirmation from the client to proceed with the change.
Verify account status: Ensure that both the ad accounts and the Business Center account are in Approved status. You cannot transfer accounts with a Penalty or Frozen status.
Understand transfer limits: You can transfer up to 50 ad accounts at a time within the same Business Center. For transfers between different Business Centers, the limit is 10 ad accounts at a time.
Prepare for balance clearing: Note that ad accounts will be suspended for four hours during the transfer process to clear any remaining balance.
By following these steps, you can change the account owner of a Business Center. If you encounter any issues, contact your account manager for assistance.
Once members have access to a TikTok account, they can use it to create Spark Ads on any ad account they have access to.
