The TikTok Keyword Suggestion Tool is designed to support Search Ads Campaigns. It provides suggestions and guidance to help advertisers optimize their keyword selection, reducing the learning curve and improving campaign performance. This tool is particularly useful when keywords are underperforming due to low correlation, low search frequency, or narrow keyword selection.
Search ad results location varies based on relevancy, user intent from search queries, and insights from broader user behavior. Results may also differ depending on ad format variations, experiments, and the advertiser's available assets.
Search Ads may behave differently, including the ability to autoplay similar to organic content. Currently, there are no control elements for ad formats or vertical-specific formats.
When you click 'Add Keywords' on the campaign targeting page, you'll go to a new page where you can search for and get suggested keywords with monthly impression predictions.
Click 'Add' to move keywords to the right side for review and confirmation.
You can type ideas into the top search bar of the Keyword Suggestion tool and hit enter. You can use the Edit Match Type dropdown to choose between broad, phrase, and exact match settings for keywords.
Similar to the previous workflow, you can view keyword projections and add and confirm keywords. The numbers are based on historical data and are for reference only. Note that the Suggested Bid Price is not supported in the initial alpha phase.
*Note, bid-price estimate is not available in the MVP version.
You will be able to select the Edit Match Type drop down to edit match types for keywords between broad, phrase, and exact match keyword settings.
You can manually enter one or multiple keywords by selecting the 'Manual Entry' option at the top of the Keyword Suggestion Tool page. This includes choosing match types for your keywords.
Keywords can also be bulk uploaded by file, but campaign and ad group structures cannot. No templates are needed; you can use a blank spreadsheet with each cell in column A containing the keywords you want to target.
