How to create a TikTok One Webpage anchor

The TikTok One Webpage anchor allows you to add and pin a clickable link to the creator videos that will live at the top of the comments for viewers to learn more about the product or service in the video.


With the Webpage anchor, you can see how organic content drives click-throughs for any branded video.


There are three types of landing pages to choose from based on your business vertical and campaign objective:

  • Web destination link: Drives viewers to a product detail page opened within TikTok. The anchor shows up both in the creator's video comments and in the feed. Note: This is only available for countries where TikTok Shop is not live.

  • E-commerce template: Drives viewers to an internal landing page where brands can choose to add a special coupon. The landing page has a CTA that will drive viewers to a website. The anchor shows up in the creator's video comments.

  • Entertainment template: Drives viewers to an internal landing page where brands can add a video preview. The landing page has a CTA that will drive viewers to a website. The anchor shows up in the creator's video comments.


How to set up the TikTok One Webpage anchor

To set up the Webpage anchor:

  1. Log in to your TikTok One account.

  2. Click Tools.

  3. Go to Assets, click Anchor.

  4. Click Create anchor.

  5. Click Webpage anchor.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Select the Webpage anchor type.



To set up the Web destination link:

  1. Select a country. The app information from this country's app store will be used. The anchor will only show to viewers in the selected country. Audiences in other regions will not see this anchor.

    • Note: To complete a campaign in multiple countries, you will need multiple anchors.

  2. Enter Website link to sync relevant website details or enter deeplinks to send viewers to a specific page within the website.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Choose your call-to-action that will appear on your anchor. You can choose from Watch Now, Listen Now, Read More, Shop Now, Get Offer, Learn More, Contact us, Join Now, and Apply Now.

  5. Under Landing page, confirm the link and category.

  6. Under Anchor management, enter the Anchor name and thumbnail.

    • Note: This information will only be shown in the Anchors list tab and will not be shown to the public.

  7. Under Tracking method, select None or Pixel. Note: To add a pixel, you must connect your TikTok One account to your Business Center and share access to the pixel. Third party tracking links or UTM tracking are not currently available for Webpage anchors.

  8. Check the box to accept to our the terms.

  9. Preview your anchor and landing page on the right side.

  10. Click Confirm.


To set up the E-Commerce template:

  1. Select a country. The app information from this country's app store will be used. The anchor will only show to viewers in the selected country. Audiences in other regions will not see this anchor.

    • Note: To complete a campaign in multiple countries, you will need multiple anchors.

  2. Add a link where you want to redirect viewers who click on the anchor.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Under Anchor display, provide a short title and description of your anchor. This will show on the anchor.

  5. Under Landing page, upload a background image.

    • Note: Image should be less than 2 MB in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format. The image ratio should be 210px (width) and 375px (height).

  6. Turn on Add coupon link (optional) to include a coupon on your landing page. You can add the Discount, Coupon URL, and Coupon code.

  7. Under Start exploring, select Website or App to direct users to from the coupon.

    • Note: If you select App, you have the option to add a deeplink. Third party tracking links or UTM tracking is not currently available for Webpage anchor.

  8. Under Anchor management, add the name of the anchor and a thumbnail.

    • Note: This will only be shown in the Anchors list tab and will not be shown to the public.

  9. Under Tracking method, select None or Pixel. Note: To add a pixel, you must connect your TikTok One account to your Business Center and share access to the pixel. Third party tracking links or UTM tracking are not currently available for Webpage anchors.

  10. Check the box to agree to our to the terms.

  11. Preview your anchor and landing page on the right side.

  12. Click Confirm.


To set up the Entertainment template:

  1. Select a country. The app information from this country's app store will be used. The anchor will only show to viewers in the selected country. Audiences in other regions will not see this anchor.

    • Note: To complete a campaign in multiple countries, you will need multiple anchors.

  2. Add a link where you want to redirect viewers who click on the anchor.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Under Anchor display, provide a short title and description of your anchor. This will show on the anchor.

  5. Under Landing page, upload a background image.

    • Note: Image should be less than 2 MB in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format. The image ratio should be 210px (width) and 375px (height).

  6. Turn on Video clip (optional) and upload a video clip that will play on the landing page.

    • Note: Video should be less than 50 MB in MP4 or MOV format. The video ratio should be 375px(width) and 210px (height).

  7. Under Button link, add a link to your landing page.

    • Note: Third party tracking links or UTM tracking is not currently available for Webpage anchors.

  8. Under Anchor management, add the name of the anchor and a thumbnail.

    • Note: This will only be shown in the Anchors list tab and will not be shown to the public.

  9. Under Tracking method, select None or Pixel. Note: To add a pixel, you must connect your TikTok One account to your Business Center and share access to the pixel.

  10. Check the box to accept the terms.

  11. Preview your anchor and landing page on the right side.

  12. Click Confirm.


After submitting your anchor, your anchor submission request will be reviewed by our moderation team. It usually takes up to 12 hours for the submission request to be approved. If your anchor is rejected, you can edit the anchor and resubmit it to moderation team for review.


You can view the status of all your anchors by navigating to Assets and clicking Anchor.


If you need to make anchors in multiple countries, click copy to quickly duplicate them or click edit to change the anchor region. Each copied anchor will require individual moderation reviews.
