To manage an ad account on behalf of someone, or to work on an ad account owned by another business, you can request access to the ad account. When approved, you can grant others access to that ad account from your Business Center.
You must be a Business Center admin to request access to ad accounts in your Business Center.
Note: You can't request access to a disapproved ad account.
Log in to your TikTok Business Center account.
In the left-side menu, click Accounts.
Under All accounts, go to Advertiser accounts.
Click Add Advertiser account.
Click Request Access, then click Next.
Or if you don't have existing ad accounts in the Business Center, just click Request Access.
Enter in the Account ID.
Set the access permissions, then select the desired accounts and assets you'd like this ad account to access. These permissions are:
Admin
Operator
Analyst
Note: Learn more about Business Center roles and permissions and how to assign account or asset level permissions.
(Optional): You may select the service provided, which allows the advertiser to confirm your company's agency role, like a media buying agency. Learn more about verifying the type of service provided by partners.
An email notification will be sent to the ad account owner asking for approval:
If a Business Center creates the ad account, ask one of the ad account admins to accept the request in TikTok Ads Manager.
If an individual user creates the ad account and does not belong to any Business Center, ask the ad account creator to accept the request in TikTok Ads Manager.
Note: The request can be found in the Notifications page of TikTok Ads Manager under the Business Center tab.
If you'd like to deactivate the account, select the desired ad account and click Close in the top-right corner.
If you no longer need to manage this ad account and would like to remove it from the Business Center, learn how to remove Business Center access to ad accounts. Deleting the ad account removes the account from Business Center completely.
