Which ad formats are available for use with TikTok on SHOPLINE?

Our product availability is constantly evolving, and the date of availability depends on each country. Generally, merchants using TikTok on SHOPLINE can access the available ad formats in their region via TikTok Ads Manager. Additionally, merchants using the integration will have access to some exclusive features and capabilities.


Organic “product discovery” features

  • TikTok Community: Once you get set up on TikTok, you can start to make TikTok videos and build a community around your brand. 


Paid Ad formats

In-feed ads, including:

  • Spark Ads: Spark Ads is a native ad format that lets brands leverage organic TikTok posts in their advertising. This unique ad format lets you create ads on TikTok Ads Manager using posts made by you or other TikTok Creators (with their permission). 

  • Dynamic Showcase Ads (SHOPLINE on Catalog Sales Objective**): DSA drive conversions through personalized ad targeting at scale. They allow brands to automatically promote thousands of products, delivering a curated ad experience to your customers that combine product inventory and customer activity on apps, like adding to a cart or viewing a product. The feature is available in beta to merchants who install TikTok Integration (upon request). 

  • Collection Ads: This ad format lets advertisers use a product gallery card/image card and an instant gallery page/instant product page for their business. This seamless shopping experience features a combination of video and product images pulled directly from the catalog, along with CTA to drive conversion on a product or promotion. This feature will be automatically enabled for TikTok Integration users on TikTok Ads Manager. 


The formats above are all offered in “Auction” mode (I.e., via a self-serve bidding platform on TikTok Ads Manager). For “Reservation” ad formats, please contact your TikTok Sales Representative.
