Create an ad campaign on TikTok Ads Manager or directly on Shopify to grow your business on TikTok.
Before you create a campaign in Shopify, you will need to set up a Smart Performance Campaign (SPC) to create a campaign in Shopify. This will optimize conversion results.
You will see one of three statuses on your ad account in Shopify:
Not Ready: Your account is either under review or missing information, such as missing payment or business details. Click on Update to go to the account setup page in TikTok Ads Manager and fill in the required information.
Approved: Your account has been successfully created or connected.
Unavailable: Your account can not be used as it has been disabled voluntarily or has been removed for a violation. You will need to create a new ad account.
Click Create Campaign.
Insert a campaign name in Ad Name.
Choose a Landing Page type: Single Product, Collection, or Homepage.
Upload an existing video file or use our video generator tool to create a video from existing images or videos.
Review multiple videos that are generated and select one to run as an ad campaign.
Provide a country for Automatic Targeting.
Select an Optimization event that uses the signals from your Shopify Pixel.
We recommend starting with an upper-funnel event like Add to Cart before moving down the purchase journey to Complete Payment.
Choose a daily budget of more than $20 USD per day.
Schedule your campaign or let it run continuously.
If you disconnect your Pixel, the ads you create through the TikTok App on Shopify will not be paused, but you will be unable to create new ads until you reconnect, or create, a new pixel.
