A TikTok Shop's Official Account can be used in Video Shopping Ads and LIVE Shopping Ads. This feature is already available to all TikTok Shops in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam.
Before we start - You can enable a TikTok Shop's Official Account to be used for advertising purposes via either of the following two ways:
In Seller Center, connect one or multiple Ad Accounts for advertising purposes. For the steps, refer to How to Set Up Shop Ads in Seller Center.
In the Business Center, directly connect to one or multiple TikTok Shops for advertising purposes. For the steps, refer to For Sellers - claim, create TikTok Shop from Business Center.
The use of a TikTok Shop's Official Account in Shop Ads is available to ad accounts under a Business Center which is directly connected to the TikTok Shop.
Go to TikTok Ads Manager and start a new Campaign.
From the Campaign creation page, select Product Sales as the objective.
Select TikTok Shop as the Product Source.
Select either Video Shopping Ads or LIVE Shopping Ads as type.
For Video Shopping Ads:
At the ad group level, select the TikTok Shop.
At the ad level, under Identity, select Use other authorized account, then select the official account.
For LIVE Shopping Ads:
At the ad group level, go to Identity, and select the official account.
After you select the Identity for your Shopping Ad, you will need to choose the creative to use in your Shopping Ad.
For Video Shopping Ads, click +TikTok post and choose a TikTok post.
For LIVE Shopping Ads:
For real-time LIVE ad format, no TikTok post is needed prior to the start of the livestream.
For single video ad format, click +TikTok post and choose a TikTok post.
Complete the rest of the required ad settings and publish your ads.
