Beginning July 2025, GMV Max will be the default and only supported campaign type for TikTok Shop Ads. To create ads using the Sales objective and your TikTok Shop as the sales destination, you can create a GMV Max campaign. Learn more about this change. To create ads for your shop:
Create your Product Shopping Ads campaigns through the TikTok Seller Center app. Product Shopping Ads in the TikTok Seller Center app is only available to invited TikTok and Tokopedia sellers in Indonesia.
You'll need to link your Tokopedia seller account to your ShopTokopedia seller account.
You'll need to link your ShopTokopedia seller account to your TikTok Ads manager account.
You'll need Main Administrator or Advertising Manager permissions in Seller Center.
To ensure that your ads are delivered, you need to set up your payment account through TikTok Ads Manager. Learn more about TikTok Billing Options.
Update your product catalog to ensure accurate and up-to-date images and information. Ads for out-of-stock products will pause automatically and resume once replenished.
To create Product Shopping Ads in the Seller Center app:
Log in to Tokopedia & Shop Seller Center app on your device.
Go to the Shop Ads tab in the TikTok Seller Center app.
Note: If you cannot find the Shop Ads tab, ensure you are using an account with the required access permissions (Main Administrator or Advertising Manager).
Tap on Create Ad.
Choose the platform where you want your ads to appear:
Tokopedia Placement: Available for users who have linked their Tokopedia Seller Center account.
TikTok Placement: Available for ShopTokopedia sellers and selected users who already linked their Tokopedia account to Shop Tokopedia account.
Set your campaign budget and schedule. Minimum budget: IDR 6,000 or US$ 0.6.
In the Bidding & Optimization section, select one of the following goals:
Target ROAS: Focus on maximizing return on ad spend.
Target CPA: Drive traffic at the lowest cost per purchase.
Note: Target CPC optimization is not available in the TikTok Seller Center app. You have to access the feature through TikTok Ads Manager Desktop.
Select Products to Advertise
All Products: Automatically promote all relevant products from your catalog.
Tip: Create at least one always-on ad group with all products to maximize visibility.
Specific Products: Manually select up to 300 products to advertise.
Review your campaign settings and tap Submit.
