To fully use TikTok’s Event API and enhance your ad performance, getting a TikTok Access Token is important. The Access Token connects your TikTok Pixel with marketing data across servers, websites, apps, or CRM systems. This setup improves data collection, ad targeting, and campaign tracking.
Step 1: Obtain the TikTok access token:
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager and choose the Ads Manager account.
Click Tools and select Events to configure Pixel settings and data sources.
From the sidebar, select Data sources.
Find the Pixel for the Conversion API and click to view its details and settings.
Go to Settings and scroll down to Event API.
Under Access Token Generation, click Generate Access Token.
Copy the generated code.
Step 2: Add TikTok access token to Shoplazza
In Shoplazza admin, go to Apps.
Click One Pixel.
Choose TikTok.
You can Add a new Pixel ID or edit the existing Pixel ID.
Choose the Pixel ID matching your Access token.
Toggle on Event API.
Enter TikTok Access Token that you copied.
Click Confirm.
It links your TikTok Pixel with the Conversion API, enabling enhanced tracking and performance analytics.
On the app homepage, your Event API will display Enabled.
