How to create video packages in a Catalog

A catalog is a type of asset on TikTok Ads manager that allows you to store and manage information about your products. You can instantly create custom videos for all of your products in a catalog.

How to create video packages in a Catalog

To create video packages:

1. Log in to TikTok Ads Manager.

2. Click Assets.

3. Click Catalog.

4. Select your catalog.

5. Under Configure, click Video. You can select from the following:

   • Dynamic Templates: The easiest way to get started with Catalog videos. You can choose a Smart Template, Standard Video, or Beat Sync. Select the template and click Edit Settings. After you have edited the settings, click Create.

   • TikTok Templates: TikTok creative teams have created unique templates for you to use. Find a template that you would like to use by using the search filters. After you've found a template, click Create.

   • Custom Templates & Fonts: You can create your own templates and upload them to TikTok. Click Upload to select the zip file you have created. You'll be able to choose images and text to replace from your catalog. Click Confirm. Once the template is uploaded, click Create. Note: Templates should be created in Lottie file format.

   • External Templates: If you use Adobe After Effects to create your own templates, you can upload them directly from After Effects to the Catalog using the TikTok AE Creative Plug-in. Download and install the Plug-in to upload video templates.
