In TikTok Ads Manager, features are available to help you efficiently monitor the results of your Shop Ads campaigns. This article walks you through the guidance on View Shop Ads Reporting.


Campaign page

Go to your Campaign page. This is where you can view and edit details for campaigns, ad groups, and ads. Let's take a look at some key things to consider when filtering and viewing your Shop Ads reporting.


Filtering

The filter feature helps you efficiently view specific types of campaigns. There are a few ways to filter for Shop Ads campaigns.

  1. If you want to view all Shop Ads campaigns driving to TikTok Shop, use the Product source filter.

    • Click on the +Filter button, select Campaign settings, choose Product source, and go to TikTok Shop.

  2. If you want to view specific Shop Ad formats, use the Ad type selection to filter. You can filter for Video Shopping Ads, Live Shopping Ads, and Product Shopping Ads (available in select markets).

    • Click on the +Filter button, select Ad group settings, select Ad type, and choose Video Shopping Ads, Live Shopping Ads, or Product Shopping Ads.

Select TikTok Shop in the column's dropdown to quickly view key Shop Ads metrics. The default Shop Ads metrics include:

  • Total Cost: The estimated total amount of money you've spent on your campaign, ad group, or ad during its schedule.

  • Impressions: The number of times your ads were on screen.

  • Clicks: The number of clicks from your ads that lead to a specified destination.

  • CTR: The percentage of times people click to a specified destination after being shown your ad.

  • Checkouts Initiated (Onsite): The number of TikTok Shop initiate checkout events that are attributed to your ads, such as clicks on "Buy now" and "Buy with coupon" buttons on your product pages.

  • Purchases (Shop): The number of TikTok Shop orders that are attributed to your ads.

  • Purchase Rate (Shop): The percentage of TikTok Shop purchases out of all click events.

  • ROAS (Shop): The total return on ad spend (ROAS) from TikTok Shop gross revenue attributed to your ads.

  • Gross Revenue (Shop): The TikTok Shop gross revenue attributed to your ads.


Custom columns for additional reporting metrics

  1. For additional metrics that matter the most for your business, you can select Custom Columns in the columns dropdown to add metrics and save those under preset columns, click Shop Event, and select the Shop metrics you want to add to the reporting.

    • You can select from the following Shop metrics and select total, cost, rate, value per event, and total value, where it applies.

      • ROAS (Shop)

      • Purchases (Shop)

      • Checkouts initiated (Shop)

      • Adds to cart (Shop)

      • Product page views (Shop)

  2. You can select from the following Video play metrics, where it applies.

    • Video views, 6-second video views, 2-second video views

    • Video views at 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%

    • Average watch time

  3. You can select from the following LIVE metrics, where it applies.

    • LIVE views, effective LIVE views

    • LIVE product clicks

  4. You can drag and drop the metrics selection to customize the order in which they appear.

  5. Finally, you can save the Shop Ads metric columns you just created for future reference by toggling on Save as present columns and entering a name for your custom data view.

  6. On the main Campaign page, you can also drag and rearrange columns to the desired order or remove columns.
