The following events are available for web lead generation:
Event | How it's used |
View Content | Include this event on web pages where you want to track views of key content or soft leads (where no contact info is submitted) Note: This event is mandatory for Automotive Ads. |
Search | Include this event to track vehicle/inventory searches (VLPs) |
Contact | Include this event to track website chats or some other contact point. |
Click Button | Include this event to track on-page button click actions and engagements. |
Add to Wishlist | Include this event when someone saves, likes or otherwise shows special interest in a listing on the website. |
Complete Registration | Include this event to track lower funnel actions or hard leads (where contact info is submitted). You could use this event to designate hard lead type, such as event registration. |
Subscribe | Include this event to track lower funnel actions or hard leads (where contact info is submitted) You could use this event to designate hard lead type, such as newsletter subscription. |
Submit Form | Include this event to track lower funnel actions or hard leads (where contact info is submitted) |
Customize Product | Track completed vehicle configurations |
Find Location | Track Dealer Location searches |
Schedule | Track confirmed appointment bookings (like a test drive) |
