Ad creatives must not contain invalid buttons, induced gestures or text (buttons / gestures / text that portray unsupported functionality).
Make sure the ad is in your targeted market language. Avoid using foreign words in the title, landing page and ad creative.
Make sure the title / text of your ad does not contain any grammar or spelling errors.
If the ad's landing page features any type of product or service, ensure it has a Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
In addition to the Privacy Policy, your website must provide contact information (social media, telephone, email, or address).
The ad creatives should not direct users to a landing page that does not work.
The ad creatives and the landing page must contain consistent information about promotions, prices or discounts. Relevant information, disclaimer clause and the terms and conditions should also be included.
Make sure the product featured in your ad creative is among the products listed on your landing page.
Avoid exaggerated phrases like: "This product will remove all wrinkles from your skin" or "This product will remove 95% of the imperfections of your face." If the information comes from a study, always show this information on your landing page or in the video.
When promoting clothes, avoid focusing on specific parts of the body. Always show the product / clothing appropriately.
Do not compare products and prices related to different brands or competitors.
Avoid promoting exaggerated discounts or bonuses linked to any additional purchase conditions such as free shipping, service subscription or purchase of another product.
Avoid exaggerated phrases like: "The biggest discounts in Mexico" or "The best prices during Hot Sales."
Do not display images of celebrations / activities that refer to alcoholic beverages or recreational drugs on your ad creatives or landing pages.
Ad creatives and landing pages must not display content that infringes or violates the rights of third parties, including trademarks, logos, service marks, trade names, or any other property or personal rights.
The TikTok logo and name are not allowed to be used without permission.
In general, TikTok prohibits the advertising of the following industry and trade:
Animals, animal parts or products
Adult sexual products, services, and entertainment
Casinos and gambling games
Cigarettes and tobacco products
Counterfeiting & piracy
Drugs and paraphernalia
Police/military gears and equipment
Unacceptable Business Practices
Unsuitable Businesses, Products, or Services
Weaponry and weapon parts
